Adhavan Arivalagan

Adhavan Arivalagan is a rising senior at the University of Michigan studying business administration along with pre-medicine. He is currently the youth chair of MICS and has led the KN95 mask donation campaign last year during the onset of the pandemic and is now contributing to helping India and their current struggles with COVID-19 through this platform.

Anvita Suneja

Anvita Suneja is a rising senior at Michigan State University completing her bachelor’s in science with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation in December of 2021. As an Osteopathic Medical Scholar, her career goals consist of entering the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in July of 2022 to pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. She serves as one of the youth chairs of MICS and lead COVID-19 relief efforts through the KN95 mask donation campaign and various local service projects at the peak of the pandemic last year. Utilizing the MICS platform, she is determined to bring together MICS youth to provide resources for India during the COVID-19 crisis.

Detroit Indian Women's Association is a Nonprofit 501(c) (3). Detroit Indian Women's Association, driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all women.

DIWA is a non-profit 501(c) (3) support group that brings together women of all age groups from diverse cultural backgrounds, ethnicities and across industries. We want to inspire and empower other women striving for success in their personal or professional life, alongside attaining a work-life balance.

While our goal is to strengthen and empower the network of all women, we want to extend our support to men as well, who want to explore the diverse industries through strategic partnerships and collaboration. Our organization's core mission aspires to promote Four Pillars of SELF.
